Responsibilities For Senior Fleet Operations Engineer (NY or MI)

  • Travel to customer stores and perform physical robot hardware maintenance, repairs, and upgrades/retrofits
  • Support 3rd party technicians via phone and remote login to robots
  • Alert escalation support of robot issues via remote login
  • Contact customer stores to address robot issues
  • Provide remote support on 50% of weekend days
  • Local travel within 90 minute drive (up to 50% of time)
  • Domestic travel up to 10% of time

Requirements For Senior Fleet Operations Engineer (NY or MI)

Linux
  • 5+ years assembly or repair of complex electromechanical systems
  • Troubleshooting video, networking, and computer systems
  • Power user of web based live control tools
  • Linux OS command line interface and shell scripting
  • Strong English oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively using collaborative messaging tools
  • Must be capable of lifting equipment, bending, and performing repairs
  • Located in greater New York City area or Michigan
