Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Node.js
- Develop new user-facing features using TypeScript/JavaScript on both frontend and backend
- Ensure code quality through automated unit tests and end-to-end tests
- Contribute to the improvement of practices and processes in the team
- Research new technologies and tools and share learnings
- Participate in agile ceremonies and deliver value in two-week sprints
- Work with the AWS platform team to deploy infrastructure using Kubernetes
- Help influence the overall architecture and direction of the application
Requirements For Software Engineer - Node.js
- 2+ years of overall experience with at least 1+ years of experience deploying and maintaining applications on any cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
- 2 years of experience in Node.js
- Familiarity with both relational databases and NoSQL solutions
- Experience in building microservices-based architectures
- Strong knowledge and understanding of functional programming patterns
- Good understanding of CI/CD, unit testing, and automated end-to-end testing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to handle ambiguity and work in a fast-paced startup environment
