Description For Sales Engineer

Sinch is a leading customer communications platform that powers engaging experiences through mobile messaging, voice, and email for over 150,000 businesses including major players like Google, Uber, Paypal, Visa, and Tinder. The company is seeking a Sales Engineer to join their EMEA Sales Engineering team.

As a Sales Engineer at Sinch, you'll be the technical backbone of the sales process, working directly with both internal teams and customers. You'll serve as a subject matter expert for Sinch products, focusing on pre-sales support while collaborating closely with the sales team to develop and execute account strategies. The role involves significant interaction with prospective customers through executive meetings, solution presentations, and technical workshops.

The position reports to the Director Solution Sales Engineering EMEA based in Milan, Italy. You'll be instrumental in helping prospects and customers maximize their business value while ensuring financial success for Sinch. Responsibilities For Sales Engineer

  • Provide technical expertise during sales presentations and meetings
  • Hold product demonstrations with enterprise leaders
  • Provide training to sales team on new products and services
  • Act as internal Post-Sales technical escalation path
  • Liaise with Account Executives to identify technical solutions
  • Partake in strategy and planning throughout the sales cycle
  • Own and drive technical requirements of RFI/RFP responses

Requirements For Sales Engineer

  • University Degree in a technical field
  • 3+ years experience from presales, solution engineer, solution specialist, or equivalent customer facing role
  • Proven track record of successful customer engagement on enterprise and C-level
  • Expert knowledge in end-to-end processes/solution matching
  • Excellent communications and presentation skills
  • Fluency in business English
  • Project Management experience (advantage)
  • Experience from hands-on technical role (big plus)
