Water Treatment Engineer

SMS Environmental is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join their experienced team. This is a field-based role covering the Highlands and central Scotland, with a focus on pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for clients across Scotland. The role involves temperature checking, water flushing, cleaning and disinfecting showers, checking and cleaning water tanks and systems, delivering TMV checks and maintenance, and completing work on in-house software using an iPad.

Key responsibilities include:

• Temperature checking
• Water Flushing
• Cleaning and disinfecting showers
• Checking and cleaning water tanks and systems
• Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
• Completing all work on in-house software using an iPad

The ideal candidate should have:

• Previous water hygiene or water treatment experience within a legionella-focused role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working across various customer sectors
• Familiarity with iPad technology
• A full UK manual driving license
