Senior Software Engineer - Snowpark

Snowflake is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Snowpark team. Snowpark is an interface to Snowflake in different language environments and a platform for customers and partners to build exciting applications. This role offers the opportunity to work across functions and teams, contribute to query engine internals, performance debugging, and building highly scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience building complex distributed systems and expertise in areas such as performance optimization, scalability challenges, or working with databases and distributed systems.

As a Senior Software Engineer at Snowflake, you will design and develop features, understand customer requirements, and meet business goals. You'll build highly reliable software to meet the needs of the largest customers, enhance the programmability surface of Snowflake, and improve the experience of data developers. The role involves analyzing fault-tolerance and high availability issues, solving performance and scale challenges, and ensuring operational readiness of services.

Snowflake offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $214,000 - $327,750, along with eligibility for bonus and equity plans.
