Responsibilities For Sr. Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Automation & Controls (Starship)

  • Design, develop, and deploy a reliability SCADA system for Starship manufacturing
  • Drive investigations & own design improvements for starship manufacturing tooling
  • Layout industrial electrical control panels and create schematics
  • Own equipment improvement plans for maintenance strategies
  • Develop engineering solutions through Root Cause Analysis
  • Generate HMI screens for complex machinery
  • Conduct Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis
  • Coordinate cross-functionally for process improvements
  • Develop and implement maintenance KPIs
  • Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams

Requirements For Sr. Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Automation & Controls (Starship)

Linux
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, reliability, or operations
  • Experience using Microsoft SQL and PowerBI
  • Understanding of mechanical, fluid, and electrical components
  • Experience with robotic weld applications (Kuka, ABB & Fanuc)
  • PLC programming experience
  • HMI and SCADA programming experience
  • Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, UL508A codes
  • Must be available to work extended hours and weekends
  • Up to 10% travel required
  • Must be U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR requirements
