SpaceX is seeking a Sr. Simulation Engineer (Nondestructive Evaluation) to join their team developing next-generation simulation and in-process monitoring tools for the Starship and Starlink programs, while scaling up Falcon and Dragon programs. The ideal candidate will drive improvement and adoption of custom multiphysics simulation software solutions, leveraging expertise in materials, processes, and manufacturing. They will link simulation results to as-built parts, NDE methods, and machine learning models. The role involves designing improved usability for simulation tools, identifying process improvements, and working closely with production engineers and technicians.

Experience with OpenFOAM, additive manufacturing, and programming in Python or C++ is preferred. The ideal candidate will have expertise in casting, metallurgy, and a good understanding of statistics and machine learning.
