The ideal candidate will have a keen ear for audio quality, both live and edited, and the ability to refine audio workflows. Responsibilities include setting up and operating audio equipment for studio, live event, and field productions, providing audio engineering support for various events, editing and mixing audio for projects, collaborating with teams to enhance audio quality, managing audio inventory, and staying updated on industry trends. The role requires proficiency in operating advanced audio systems, experience with editing software, and strong problem-solving skills. Responsibilities For Audio Engineer

  • Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment for studio, live event, and field productions
  • Provide audio engineering support for on-site, hybrid, and remote events
  • Support field productions, capturing audio for various projects
  • Edit and mix audio for audio visual projects
  • Collaborate with onsite and post-production teams to enhance audio quality
  • Work with external vendors to refine and optimize audio workflows
  • Manage and build upon a robust audio inventory
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Assist in proposal development and contracting for freelance audio support
  • Support organization plans to enhance audience experiences

Requirements For Audio Engineer

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in audio engineering for studio and live event productions
  • Proficiency in operating and maintaining audio equipment, including microphones, mixers, audio interfaces, and advanced systems
  • Experience with audio editing software such as Pro Tools, Audition, or similar
  • Strong understanding of audio signal flow, acoustics, and sound reinforcement techniques
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in live production environments
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel for remote event support as needed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
