Description For Associate Software Engineer

Tapestry Solutions, a Boeing Company subsidiary, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to join their team in Berkeley, MO. With over 30 years of experience in logistics information systems, Tapestry Solutions combines the resources of Boeing with a small business culture, supporting 85 defense, commercial, and government customers across 50+ US locations and nine countries.

The role focuses on mission planning software development that will shape DoD operations for the next 30 years. As an Associate Software Engineer, you'll be involved in the full software development lifecycle, working on critical national defense systems. The position requires expertise in C#, .NET, and version control systems, with preferred experience in modern development patterns including microservices, REST APIs, and Single Page Applications.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of software development experience, along with an active U.S. Secret Clearance. Experience with TypeScript, ReactJS/Redux, and mission planning is highly valued. Responsibilities For Associate Software Engineer

  • Support design, development, test, and maintenance of software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  • Support development and maintenance of software products for systems integrations
  • Support development and documentation of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs
  • Debug and resolve issues to ensure software reliability and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot technical issues
  • Assist in developing and improving software processes
