Responsibilities For Security Software Engineer I
- Monitor security alerts and events using security information and event management (SIEM) systems
- Perform initial analysis of security incidents and escalate as necessary
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of security incidents
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and scans of network, systems, and applications
- Assist in the identification and remediation of vulnerabilities
- Track and document vulnerability management activities and progress
- Design, build, and deploy DevSecOps processes and tools tailored to game development studios
- Develop and implement security measures for game products throughout the development lifecycle
- Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated
- Provide support for security-related projects and initiatives
Requirements For Security Software Engineer I
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and information security principles
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, antivirus software, and SIEM systems
- Knowledge of common security frameworks and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
