Description For Field Service Electrical Engineer

Terex Corporation, a global leader in industrial equipment manufacturing, is seeking a Field Service Electrical Engineer for their Washing Systems division. This role combines electrical engineering expertise with hands-on field service, focusing on commissioning and maintaining advanced industrial washing equipment. The position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial control systems while providing technical support and training to dealers and customers across North America.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, PLC programming, and industrial controls. You'll be responsible for commissioning new installations, troubleshooting complex systems, and ensuring optimal performance of washing equipment. This role requires approximately 50% travel throughout North America, working directly with customers and dealers to provide technical expertise and support.

Responsibilities For Field Service Electrical Engineer

  • Provide first class plant commissioning and service focusing on electrical systems
  • Assist dealers and customers with installation and commissioning of TWS products
  • Work with on-site Electrical contractors for plant connections
  • Provide technical support to North American TWS Dealer Network
  • Assist sales team with technical sales
  • Provide detailed application and technical training
  • Investigate and resolve customer problems
  • Travel throughout North America to dealer and customer locations

Requirements For Field Service Electrical Engineer

  • Technical Degree in electrical field
  • 3+ years in an electrical trade
  • 3 years experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley preferred)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid passport and ability to travel 50%
  • Excellent written and spoken English
