Responsibilities For Engineering Technician, Process, Cell Cathode Engineering

  • Powder (ceramic materials) processing including mixing, sieving, and milling
  • Wet chemistry processing including solution preparation, reaction set-up, filtration, waste handling
  • Hands-on work with high temperature ovens and furnaces
  • Collect data and parameters with travelers and process documentation
  • Execute preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
  • Support equipment installation, commission, and calibration
  • Assist in optimization of process parameters

Requirements For Engineering Technician, Process, Cell Cathode Engineering

  • Hands-on experience working in chemistry labs
  • Experience in maintenance and calibration of equipment
  • Willingness to learn quickly and work efficiently
  • Meticulous attitude in data tracking and communication
  • Basic mechanical skills with hand tools and power tools
  • Experience with chemical handling and powder processing (plus)
  • Experience with equipment maintenance, fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, pipe fitting and/or welding (plus)
