Responsibilities For In Vehicle Validation Engineer, Chassis Controls
- Execute in vehicle test cases
- Create test cases and procedures
- Document objective and subjective vehicle behavior feedback
- Develop software understanding to efficiently translate changes to test requirements
- Collaborate with engineers on software and hardware changes, solutions, and requirements
- Coordinate with truck logistics and proving ground logistics
- Compile software, change parameters, investigate issues independently
Requirements For In Vehicle Validation Engineer, Chassis Controls
- Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Experience with auto cross, racing and/or at limit driving
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work against high-level goals without day-to-day oversight
- Software scripting experience (Python or similar) preferred
- Proving Ground certification preferred
- CAN tools, data logging and/or electronic diagnostic equipment experience preferred
