Internship, Security Program Manager, Security Intelligence (Winter/Spring 2025)

The Security Engineering team at Tesla is responsible for securely designing, building, and operating infrastructure across corporate, manufacturing, and production environments. As an Intern Security Program Manager in Security Intelligence, you will work on a broad set of efforts including the design and implementation of systems in new sites, ensuring survivability and resiliency, driving the feature set forward, and collaborating with construction teams and vendors on project endeavors.

The role focuses on radio systems that are critical for life safety, ensuring current and future states produce a highly trusted tool for Security, EHS, and Production teams. You will execute high-impact companywide initiatives and work to continuously improve the effectiveness of the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Implementing design coordination activities into engineering design packages
• Defining scope of work for radio system installations, including repeater systems, DAS, and networking
• Coordinating and managing external vendors and internal Tesla teams
• Participating in technical planning, cost and risk analyses, and supportability and effectiveness analyses
• Analyzing customer requirements, developing system requirements, and defining allocations to lower levels
• Executing evaluations of systems, networks, and information systems
• Global travel to sites for assessments, progress checks, and collaboration with other departments, vendors, and suppliers
