Responsibilities For Mechanical Design Engineer, Thermal HVAC, Semi
- Mechanical design and packaging of thermal system components
- Manage suppliers and projects to ensure timely program deliverables
- Develop component and system level requirements
- Lead creation of component specifications and technical design documents
- Develop and execute component and subsystem design verification plans
- Ensure vehicles conform to safety standards
- Support vehicle programs through entire life cycle
Requirements For Mechanical Design Engineer, Thermal HVAC, Semi
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 1+ years of full-time or internship experience preferred
- Outstanding design, packaging and 3D modeling skills - CATIA preferred
- Working knowledge of mechanics and structure design, thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
- Working knowledge of automotive thermal systems preferred
- Working knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes preferred
