Reliability Engineer, Drive Inverters, Semi

Tesla is seeking a Reliability Engineer for drive inverters with a strong background in high voltage power modules and components (MOSFETs, IGBTs, etc) to work on their Tesla Semi product. This role involves designing reliability into drive inverters, following the reliability lifecycle from concept to field operation. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify risks, create test plans, and provide reliability analyses. Key responsibilities include applying reliability methods to design accelerated test plans, analyzing field usage and environmental conditions, facilitating FMEA sessions, working on root cause analysis, and providing reliability design guidelines. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, 2+ years of experience in power electronics testing, and a strong understanding of reliability methods and statistics.
