Responsibilities For Software Integration Engineer, Drive Systems

  • Lead high-impact and fast-paced programs
  • Design new cross-functional features requiring coordination between ECUs and devices
  • Work cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, system architecture, and firmware teams
  • Develop and execute firmware integration test plans
  • Develop validation strategies and ensure automated test coverage
  • Debug issues at system level and propose solutions
  • Work with Manufacturing and Service teams on product releases
  • Develop prototype test setups
  • Lead integration of initial prototype systems

Requirements For Software Integration Engineer, Drive Systems

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Computer or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Hands-on experience debugging complex systems with networked microprocessors
  • Programming ability to solve challenging problems
  • Experience with C or C++
  • Ability to interpret system data
  • Understanding of mechanical fundamentals
  • Understanding of low voltage and high voltage circuits
  • Experience with CAN and Vector CAN tools (preferred)
  • Experience with FMEA and HARA (preferred)
