Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Design Technology

Tesla's Design Technology Operations team is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer to help power their design infrastructure. This role is crucial in Tesla's mission to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. As a technical generalist, you'll work across various domains including performance engineering, test engineering, release engineering, systems engineering, and security engineering. The team develops automation in Go while working with a diverse tech stack including Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, and .NET.

You'll be responsible for building and managing release processes for applications ranging from microservices to large-scale monoliths, managing Kubernetes infrastructure across three continents, and maintaining site performance using modern monitoring tools. The role requires deep expertise in Site Reliability Engineering, with strong skills in containerization, database administration, and DevOps practices.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $140,000 to $300,000 annually, plus cash and stock awards.
