Description For Software Architect / Software Engineer Developer (Experienced or Senior Level)

The Boeing Company is seeking a Senior Software Architect/Engineer to join their Special Equipment Group (SEG) team in Berkeley, MO. This role focuses on supporting Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization. The position involves leading the development and execution of new architecture solutions for a proprietary program.

The successful candidate will work with the SEG team to develop comprehensive software solutions throughout capability releases. The role involves working with Windows-based systems, developing in .NET C# within an object-oriented architecture using Microsoft Visual Studio. The position requires leading architecture design, implementation, and maintenance through development, lab testing, and flight testing phases.

Key responsibilities include designing complex software architectures, leading development teams, managing software verification, and providing technical leadership. The role requires expertise in C#/WPF development, strong understanding of software architecture principles, and experience with modern development tools and practices.

The position offers competitive compensation ranging from $107,100 to $172,500, comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and potential relocation assistance. This is a 100% onsite role requiring an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance and U.S. Person status for export control compliance.
