Responsibilities For Embedded Flight Software Engineer

  • Develop, implement, and test real-time embedded software for spacecraft systems
  • Perform requirements review and verification analysis, test plan and coverage analysis
  • Assist with system integration, testing, and flight software deployment
  • Optimize embedded software for timing, efficiency, and performance on specialized hardware
  • Support component, system, and spacecraft integration of electronics
  • Collaborate with mechanical, thermal, electrical, firmware, and software engineers
  • Drive improvements to minimize cost and schedule while maximizing reliability

Requirements For Embedded Flight Software Engineer

Rust
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with real-time or embedded systems, microcontroller development
  • Proficiency in C or C++ and Rust
  • Familiarity with FPGA fundamentals
  • Ability to read schematics and data sheets
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Knowledge of IP protocols, interfaces, and hardware subsystems
  • Ability to maintain or obtain TS//SCI clearance
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual
  • Must work onsite at GravityWorks factory in Centennial, CO
