Founding Engineer

TrueClaim is revolutionizing the healthcare insurance industry as the "Shopify for health insurance plans". Our AI-enabled platform transforms how health plans operate, making them more efficient and cost-effective. Through our innovative claims review AI agents, we deliver at least 7% cost savings compared to legacy solutions.

As a Founding Engineer, you'll be instrumental in building our product from the ground up. This role offers significant equity and product ownership, reflecting its critical importance to our success. You'll be working with cutting-edge technologies including Node.js, React, Next.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, React Native, AWS, and LLM APIs.

Your responsibilities will include architecting the industry's fastest and most accurate claims adjudication technology, developing robust financial integrations and money movement systems, and creating algorithms that enhance member care affordability. The role requires adaptability as you'll be responding to evolving customer needs, which you'll help shape.

We're backed by Y Combinator and other top investors, and our founding team brings valuable experience from companies like Hinge Health, Pine Park Health (YC), and pMD. We're already live with customers and experiencing rapid growth.

The ideal candidate should be committed to long-term impact in healthcare technology, hands-on with building products, and comfortable in a dynamic startup environment. Previous founding experience or healthcare industry knowledge is a plus.
