Responsibilities For Senior Infrastructure Engineer
- Design and maintain distributed systems for storage, compute, and streaming in a cloud-native environment
- Build tools and automation that improve developer productivity and streamline workflows
- Develop and support observability solutions including monitoring, alerting, and data quality checks
- Work closely with engineering and data teams to translate technical requirements into scalable infrastructure
- Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies into existing systems through an iterative, agile approach
- Optimize performance, reliability, and security of data pipelines and platform services
Requirements For Senior Infrastructure Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in cloud-based infrastructure engineering (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong expertise in containerization and orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS, or Docker)
- Proficient in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation
- Skilled in programming with TypeScript, Python, or other object-oriented languages (at least 2)
- Deep knowledge of distributed data systems and streaming frameworks like Apache Kafka, Flink, or Kinesis
- Familiar with networking in private cloud environments and VPC configurations
- Experience with DevOps practices including CI/CD and observability tooling
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical ideas clearly
