Forward Deployed Engineer

As a Forward Deployed Engineer at Vapi, you'll be the crucial bridge between sales and product, ensuring seamless assistant deployment for customers. You'll own enterprise customer relationships post-deal closure, acting as both PM and engineer to drive pilot progress. Your responsibilities include collaborating with engineering teams on technical requirements, scoping integration work, and managing stakeholder communications.

We're looking for someone with 2+ years of hands-on experience in product shipping and enterprise customer interaction. You should be proficient in Typescript + Node or similar backend frameworks, with experience in prompt engineering and LLM agents. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can rapidly understand customer use cases, a self-starter who takes initiative, and someone with strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
