We are seeking a customer-focused IT Operations Engineer to provide high-quality technical support for both onsite and remote employees. This role emphasizes delivering exceptional customer service while resolving break-fix tickets, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and ensuring a seamless IT experience for all users.

As an IT Operations Engineer at Vaxcyte, you will:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while providing technical support
  • Respond to and resolve IT tickets for both onsite and remote users
  • Manage user accounts through Okta and support Microsoft 365 applications
  • Use Intune for mobile device management and perform network troubleshooting
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room A/V equipment
  • Create and maintain user-friendly documentation

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT Support
  • Proficiency in Windows-based environments
  • Experience with Okta, Intune, and ticketing systems like Freshservice
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities For IT Operations Engineer

  • Deliver exceptional customer service while providing technical support
  • Respond to and resolve IT tickets for both onsite and remote users
  • Handle IT tickets via Freshservice
  • Manage and troubleshoot user accounts through Okta
  • Provide customer-focused support for Microsoft 365 applications
  • Manage, troubleshoot, and support Windows desktops and laptops
  • Use Intune to manage mobile devices
  • Perform basic network diagnostics and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and troubleshoot conference room A/V equipment
  • Assist with setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT hardware
  • Install and maintain software
  • Collaborate with the IT Systems Engineering group to support cross-functional projects
  • Create and maintain user-friendly documentation

Requirements For IT Operations Engineer

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in IT Support
  • Experience in IT operations or technical support roles
  • Proficiency in Windows-based environments
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 suite
  • Experience with Okta for user management
  • Experience with Intune or similar MDM solutions
  • Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Freshservice
  • Ability to maintain and troubleshoot conference room A/V equipment
  • Ability to write clear and user-friendly documentation
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
