Description For RD Engineer

Vayyar, the leader in 4D imaging radar technology, is seeking a talented RD Engineer to join our team in Nanjing, China. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge Radar-on-Chip platforms that impact various industries including senior care, automotive, retail, and security.

As an RD Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing Vayyar's software components, with a focus on our Home SW products. You'll collaborate with international colleagues, particularly those in Israel, to localize and customize algorithms through data collection, labeling, and verification. Your role will also involve implementing and supporting software development tests, providing technical support to local customers, and exploring new applications in home-related scenarios.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in software development, with at least 3 years of experience and proficiency in Python and C/C++. Experience with MCU application development, particularly with platforms like ESP32 or STM32, is crucial. Familiarity with edge computing and ML/AI technology applications is a plus.

This position requires excellent communication skills, a good command of English, and the ability to work in an agile software development environment. You should possess strong logical thinking and systemic analysis competence to tackle complex challenges in radar technology.

Responsibilities For RD Engineer

  • Research and maintain Vayyar Home SW products
  • Assist Israel colleagues in algorithm localization & customization: data collection, labeling, verification
  • Implement and support software development related tests
  • Provide technical support to local customers
  • Explore, promote, and implement new applications in Home related scenarios
  • Support software development related data collection, labeling & analysis
  • Research and implement prototype of new applications based on existing algorithms

Requirements For RD Engineer

Python
  • Bachelor or Master of Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • Proficient in Python and C/C++ languages
  • MCU application development experience (e.g., ESP32, STM32)
  • Good communication skills
  • Familiar with agile software development
  • Good English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Strong logical thinking and systemic analysis competence
