Responsibilities For Mechanical Design Engineer-Solidex Division

  • Apply engineering principles to evaluate designs and determine critical components
  • Perform engineering calculations to meet product specifications
  • Review loading systems and incorporate necessary integrated components
  • Review project specifications and coordinate with manufacturing
  • Prioritize workload using Syteline ERP software
  • Design components and assemblies in AutoCAD and SolidWorks
  • Communicate effectively with sales and manufacturing departments
  • Develop technical documents (instruction manuals, technical bulletins)
  • Aid customers in troubleshooting via communication and onsite visits
  • Participate in sales efforts and project meetings
  • Manage multiple product lines from a technical perspective

Requirements For Mechanical Design Engineer-Solidex Division

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good problem solving abilities
  • Ability to interact with people
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks with limited supervision
  • Knowledge of Dry Bulk material handling processes
  • Knowledge of standard drafting practices
  • Basic knowledge of electrical and control systems
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
