Data Engineer III

The position offers a hybrid work environment and competitive compensation ranging from $90,000 to $180,000 annually.

As a Data Engineer, you'll be responsible for building scalable data processing systems using Spark, Scala, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The role involves creating efficient data pipelines, optimizing workflows, and ensuring data quality across Walmart's massive data infrastructure. You'll work with cross-functional teams to transform business requirements into technical solutions.

The Data Engineering team at Walmart handles an unprecedented volume of data, building pipelines and data lakes to enable real-time analytics and machine learning applications. Your work will directly contribute to saving millions of dollars across item categories and geographies by helping leadership make data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of data engineering experience, strong programming skills in Scala and Spark, and familiarity with GCP services.
