Network QA Engineer

In this role, you will be responsible for testing and validating the functionality, performance, and security of our network products and solutions.

As a Network QA Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of WitnessAI's network products and services. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and automating tests to evaluate the performance, functionality, and security of network systems. This role requires hands-on experience with networking technologies and protocols, as well as a deep understanding of quality assurance processes in a network environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate network products and features.
• Conduct functional, performance, load, and security testing of networking systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and other network devices.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand product requirements and identify key test scenarios.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for network features, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and repeatability.
• Execute manual and automated tests, analyze test results, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
• Work closely with product managers and developers to reproduce, isolate, and resolve reported defects.
• Perform network protocol testing, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, and others to ensure compliance with industry standards and protocols.
• Validate security measures such as encryption, access control, and authentication mechanisms.
• Monitor and analyze network performance under various scenarios, identifying bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and potential improvements.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and testing of network products.
• Document test procedures, results, and issue reports clearly and concisely.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in networking technologies and quality assurance practices.
