This technical role spans IT, DevOps, and internal security, requiring 5+ years of experience and deep expertise in device management, security protocols, and compliance frameworks. Responsibilities For IT & Platform Security Engineer
- Configure and manage corporate devices, MDM, VPN, and secure endpoint access
- Support onboarding/offboarding processes with focus on automation
- Maintain and secure core SaaS tools
- Design and enforce access controls, identity management, and authentication policies
- Collaborate with engineering on IAM, AWS environment security, and internal tooling
- Help prepare for and maintain compliance with frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001
- Monitor and respond to internal security events and incidents
- Document processes, playbooks, and policies
- Support developers with secure, reliable access to infrastructure and tools
Requirements For IT & Platform Security Engineer
- 5+ years of experience in IT, internal security, or devops roles
- Proficient with mobile device management and endpoint provisioning
- Hands-on experience with Okta, Google Workspace, and cloud IAM (especially AWS)
- Comfortable writing scripts and working with configuration management tools
- Experienced in managing access, authentication, and endpoint security
- Familiar with compliance requirements such as SOC 2
- Security-minded and detail-oriented
- Proactive communicator who thrives in fast-paced, remote-first environments
