Software Engineer - New Grad

ZipRecruiter is seeking software engineers passionate about building intuitive experiences for our marketplace serving millions of jobseekers and tens of thousands of customers. As a new grad, you'll have the opportunity to specialize in Big Data, Full Stack, Machine Learning, Mobile - iOS, or Mobile - Android. You'll work at scale, building fast, scalable, and effective applications that help connect people to their next job.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in the full life cycle of user-facing applications at scale, from design to implementation and testing to production
• Developing a strong understanding of the business, industry, codebase, and/or systems
• Writing, testing, instrumenting, and deploying high-quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks in our Kubernetes environment
• Helping drive innovation and evolution at ZipRecruiter

The ideal candidate should have:

• A Computer Science degree or related technical field (graduating Winter 2024 or Fall 2025, or recent graduate from Spring 2023 to Spring 2024)
• Previous internship experience or equivalent practical experience in software engineering
• Fluency in at least one general-purpose programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Go, C++, Javascript)
• Interest in specializing in Big Data, Full Stack, Machine Learning, Mobile - iOS, or Mobile - Android

ZipRecruiter offers a competitive salary range of $130,000-$150,000, along with benefits including flexible vacation, paid time off, and an employer-matched 401(k) plan. The company provides a hybrid work environment, with most US-based positions able to be performed remotely.
