Responsibilities For Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Federal

  • Oversee operational tasks for FedRAMP cloud products, including deployments, on-call duties, and incident management
  • Manage all cloud infrastructure components, such as AWS GovCloud, private cloud environments, containers, and VMs
  • Develop operations documentation, handle escalations, and implement measures to prevent recurring incidents
  • Contribute to DevOps best practices

Requirements For Staff Site Reliability Engineer - Federal

  • 5+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, with relevant experience in an Operations or Engineering environment
  • Experience with High/Moderate FedRAMP authorization levels and monthly monitoring programs
  • Hands-on experience with Linux administration, basic network troubleshooting, and infrastructure as code and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
  • Coding experience (preferably Python) and expertise in container-based architectures (AWS ECS / Kubernetes)
  • Knowledge of virtualization, cloud architecture and services, automated deployments, web security, and protocols (HTTP, SSL/TLS, DNS, SQL) and networking fundamentals
  • Secret Security Clearance (must maintain throughout employment)
  • Information Assurance Technician Level 2 Certification (can be obtained within first few weeks of employment)
