Professional relationships can be fostered organically when you have regular XFN syncs. Deeper relationships get built in the time before or after your meetings or when you are making conversations with people in person in the hallways/kitchens.

As an E4 though, you won't have huge expectations around XFN alignment and I don't think you need to be super consciously thinking about it. Just make sure you treat people with respect and overcommunicate, and you should be okay.
