About Me

Thanks for asking! I'm excited to be here. I've been working in software engineering for the past 8 years, primarily focused on backend development and distributed systems. I'm currently based in Seattle and working for a mid-sized company in the e-commerce space.

My experience has spanned a range of technologies and domains. Early in my career, I spent a few years at Amazon, where I worked on scaling their recommendation engine. That was an incredible learning experience, exposing me to the challenges of processing massive datasets and building high-throughput, low-latency services. I learned a lot about fault tolerance and operational excellence there.

More recently, I've been at my current company, where I've had the opportunity to take on more leadership responsibilities. I've been involved in designing and implementing key features for our platform, including a new inventory management system. This involved working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define requirements, develop solutions, and ensure successful deployment. I've also become proficient in mentoring junior engineers and leading code reviews.

I'm passionate about building scalable, reliable, and maintainable software. I enjoy tackling complex problems and collaborating with others to find innovative solutions. I'm particularly interested in cloud technologies, microservices architectures, and data engineering.
