The interviewer was pathetic and didn't have a clue about what they were doing at Amex. When I asked which technology they were working on at Amex, they could not describe it at all. When asked which models they were using, they said ChatGPT. When asked how they were hiding PII while uploading sensitive data to the cloud, they said guardrails. That's true when generating output, but the question was about uploading the data. I still gave a reference to what kind of masking techniques were used while uploading sensitive data, but they didn't have clarity on what they were doing.
The other interviewer didn't have a clue why they were even there and couldn't even understand the discussion that was going on.
