Cons: Your growth in a team depends on your direct reporting manager and his/her manager's growth. If they don't grow in the hierarchy, you are doomed, unless you move to a different team and start all over again. No clear path to grow is defined in the review process. You will hear a generic "You chart your own growth" response if you ask that question. In a company of 20,000, and with a lot of hierarchies and processes in place, it gets murky to chart your own path even if you perform well.

Pros: A dental plan, if you can't afford them, you can get cinema tickets and coffee for free, six months fully paid maternity/paternity leave, a nice office, plenty of talented people, and good internal financial education materials.

Cons: Corporation, no chances for real remote work in the future, no real private health care (only perks for a "healthy lifestyle"), average/poor managers are the norm, no technical path (only people management). They say a lot about doing the right thing and equality, but they lack in those areas themselves. They tend to invest a lot into average projects (e.g., multiple teams working on a project for a year that can be replaced with one script created overnight).

Pros: Everything except money.
