Pros: Flexibility to take your career in new directions. Training and certifications paid for and actively pushed for.

Cons: After 19 years, I’ve seen lots of change, but never as much as the last 3 years. There’s a general sense that people don’t matter anymore. No matter what people are made to deal with, the answer is always that “It’s come from group,” which is the Capgemini way of saying the decision has been made and nobody challenges upwards. There’s been a big loss of transparency and trust, too. Change is often presented as being for the employees, based on their feedback. Yet, no-one is able to find a single colleague who wants the changes and directives to come. It basically feels like Capgemini no longer trusts employees, and employees no longer trust Capgemini.

Pros: Like always, some great co-workers.

Cons: Lack of direction and support from North American management. Salary. Lack of work-life balance. (Work-life balance = You work when the client wants, so be flexible.)

Pros: Best company to work with.

Cons: Not much issue with management and getting support.
