Process

There were three profiles for which Capgemini visited our college: Analyst (4.25 LPA), Star Analyst (5.75 LPA), and Senior Analyst (7.5 LPA).

ROUND-1 (English and Technical MCQ)

This was a technical assessment consisting of data structures, algorithms, fundamentals of database, cloud, and networking. For roles specific to your streams, the technical assessment would comprise stream-specific topics. There were 10-15 questions on these topics, with a total of around 50 questions.

This round also included a Gaming round (4 sections), which you could only participate in if you cleared the MCQ round. The games included:

  • Motion Challenge
  • Inductive Thinking
  • Grid Challenge
  • Deductive Thinking

My Round 1 was on 06/09/2022.

NOTE: Candidate assessment clearance depends on the scores of each module. Each round is a mandatory, elimination round.

Suggestion: I would suggest practicing from sites like GeeksforGeeks and others, as it will give you the confidence to solve problems.

ROUND-2 (Coding Round)

The Coding/Level 2 Technical assessment was a mandatory round and was applicable for students eligible for higher package roles. Eligibility was based on a combination of the student's academic performance and Capgemini Exceller assessments. As I was selected for a higher profile after the first round, I was eligible for the coding round. There were two coding questions: one easy and one medium level, with only 40 minutes allotted. I was able to solve both questions and was selected for the Senior Analyst role, while those who solved only one question were selected for the Star Analyst role. My Round 2 was on 08/09/2022.

Tips: Keep an eye on the remaining time.

ROUND-3 (Spoken English Assessment)

This round was mandatory but not an elimination round. To practice, you can find English Assessment questions on GFG and other websites. My Round 3 was also on 08/09/2022.

ROUND-4 (Technical + HR Interview)

We were waiting in a queue on the Superset platform. For me, this round lasted about 15 minutes (it completely depends on the interviewer). The interviewer started with "Tell me something about yourself." Afterward, she asked me to describe my project step-by-step, what cloud computing is, and then some questions from OOPS, DSA, and CPP (they generally ask which programming language you are comfortable with). Then she asked some HR questions like "Tell me something about Capgemini," "Strengths," "Weakness," and "If you were given a chance, which domain would you choose to work on and why?" Almost all interviewers give you a chance to question them; use this opportunity to show them you are really excited to join their organization. My Round 4 was on 13/09/2022.

Tips: Read about the organization and their interview experiences before any interview. Be calm and confident.

Finally, I received an email on 23/09/2022 stating that I was selected as a Senior Analyst.
