Pros: There are no pros working with Capgemini unless you are a manager of some testing project. You can come and enjoy your time as you will be only occupied with checking emails.

Cons: A very bad company for freshers. They only have testing projects, and the quality of testing done is very niche. They are mainly into manual testing, so there is no learning curve. There is a lot of politics inside some projects. For example, in telecom projects, they will hire you as a fresher. Managers will make you work on weekends, and at the end of the performance review, they will award you with bad ratings. These ratings are predecided on the basis of an absurd bell curve, giving some nonsensical reason of not completing some absurd training or not completing the hours to stay in the office, which even they don't complete.

Pros: When I joined Capgemini, it was a dream come true. I was lucky enough to get a project which was fairly close to my home. The tech stack of the project matched my previous experience, and I was working with the latest technologies.

Cons: Despite having put a lot of hours in to make sure projects succeed and ensuring client satisfaction is optimal, I didn't feel appreciated. In fact, people who had insignificant roles on projects received promotions and raises. Why? Politics, of course. If you don't play the corporate ballgame, then you have lost before the competition has even begun.

Pros: Difficult to think of five words. You get paid is only three?

Cons: - HR support is literally non-existent. They don't want to know or are simply incompetent. - Work-life balance across those competent is heavily weighted. Want to do everyone else's work? Again, take a look at working for Capgemini. - The extra effort involved in the above is rarely recognized. - Work/life balance is extremely poor, with long hours and large amounts of travel. - The travel policy is nowhere near adequate. Like standing on trains in standard class for hours on end? You've got it, Capgemini is the place to be. - No career progression. - Salary-deductible benefits are compulsory.
