Cons

Ridiculous management churn: expect at least two managers a year.

Forced distribution on bi-yearly reviews, because it's not possible for everyone on a team to be a strong performer.

A definite weed-out process for first-year associates. Once you make it through the first year, you'll be fine, but lots of people don't.

If management kills a project, someone on the team will get a failing review, no matter how strong their work is.

Sometimes unpleasant teammates.

Advice to Management

Stop wasting money on the ridiculously lengthy twice-a-year reviews.

Stop duplicating effort with multiple similar projects across the company.

Why spend all the money and effort to hire people and train them on all the necessary proprietary systems, then force them out after only a year?
