Process
Massive waste of time. Before starting the process, the recruiter estimated my offer based on a level three levels higher than what I ended up matching to. They couldn't adjust the level even though I did great in the interview. The total compensation they offered is half of what I'm currently earning.
The interviewing process itself was nice. The interviewer was nice, and scheduling was timely.

Pros: Due to layoffs, it's been more sour at Chime than usual. My team has been protected by our thoughtful (equally hardworking) manager, and I appreciate her tremendously for her leadership.
If you're going to join Chime, I suggest interviewing the manager to see if it'll be a good fit for you.
For the most part, my peers are happy here. We do have some groups overworked, and I would blame that on management.
Cons: Poor management.
Find the bad managers and replace them.

Pros: The company is growing fast at a steady pace while putting emphasis on building a great culture.
There's transparent communication from executives.
The company's values are very aligned with its business model, and I feel empowered to do my best work, knowing we're helping people better manage their finances.
Cons: As we bring more people on board, the workplace starts to feel a bit cramped.
Though we've recently hired a dedicated role to address this, I'm hopeful that it'll improve soon.
