Process
Received a direct call from Cisco after they downloaded my resume from Naukri.
There were four rounds:
- Round 1: Basic networking questions, including OSI layers, ARP, and L2 headers. Approximately 30 minutes.
- Round 2: C programming, Linux system programming, OS concepts, and linked lists. Approximately 40 minutes.
- Round 3: Managerial questions, such as reasons for a job change.
- Round 4: HR round.
Received an offer after background verification. It took one week to get the offer letter.
Questions
What happens when free() is called? Does it immediately free the memory? Will it cause a segmentation fault if we access the memory after free()?
