It takes a lot of time to get some things done due to processes. This isn't a con, but it can be time-consuming.
First telephone interview by the person I'm taking over from. Then face to face with two senior product team members. Hiring manager wanted an interview, but previous interviewers were convinced enough to persuade the manager to do away with it.
