Pros
  • Work culture is good in most BUs.
  • There are a good number of activities to socialize and volunteer during office hours.
  • Market-competitive salary & RSU.
Cons
  • Competition is eating away market share, Arista in switching, Juniper in the hyperscale cloud segment because of no vision management.
  • Company management & HR are overly focused on projecting a good image outside or on social media.
  • There is no vision or direction from management; most of them are from sales and don't understand technology.
  • There is plenty of hierarchy through management layers.
  • And yes, there are constant layoffs because of weak, incompetent management.
Advice to Management

Fire all Sr. management. Hire people who know what they are doing, have vision on products, and are updated with industry trends.
