A well-structured interview process.

The company is serious about values and cultural fit, which is always a good sign. Highly responsive recruiters and a well-paced interview process.

4 rounds:

• First round with a manager. Not necessarily the hiring manager. They give a good idea about the company, work, tech stack, culture, and feedback process. This is your chance to know more about the company.

• 2nd round: Live coding round with an engineer (45 mins). Pro: They will give you a practical problem to work on. Nothing crazy. Leetcode medium. The engineer was collaborative as well. Good coding round experience. Cons: You will need to set up your own local environment and do the screen share. It would be nice if the company could use some shared coding environment like HackerRank.

• 3rd round: Detailed previous project interview (1 hr). This was something new. You will be asked to explain a previous project of your choice. The interviewer will go into the details. A lot of good discussions happened in this round.

• 4th round: Values fit (1 hr). Values discussion and 'Tell me about a time when' type questions. The company is serious about values and cultural fit. So please don't take this round lightly. Go through the Clio values and be prepared to talk about how you fit well.
