Pros: Great engineers, hard-working smart talents, a good engineering culture, and a supportive environment from peer engineers.

Cons: Mid-level management are grossly incompetent and have no idea what they're doing. They micro-manage engineers to death, create long meaningless meetings, post fake encouragement like "LFG", don't listen to feedback, and care only about their own optics. There is lots of meaningless red tape that is only for show.

Pros: Good salary and an interesting position in the industry. Great focus on the customer experience.

Cons: Many engineers vibe-code everything today and are awful at programming. This may depend on your org, but there is plenty of top-down encouragement to use AI.

Pros: Lots of incredibly smart engineers. Really cool technology.

Cons: Heavy focus on moving fast, which has definitely resulted in technical debt. Influx of middle and upper managers from FAANG companies.
