It was great until it wasn't
There were a lot of things that needed to be done, and a ton of opportunities to learn new things and build interesting things.
We had a lot of churn in the senior director and VP+ roles on the team. This led to lots of changes in direction and burnout.
The biggest negative, I'm an alcoholic and being given feedback that I needed to buy drinks and not be so awkward in those types of settings. That and getting a bottle of wine as a gift. All my individual issues, but it was grating to have to hear that we value mental health, etc.
