Pros: If you're a smart, hard-working go-getter, in it for yourself, and mind your own business, you can do very well here. They pay very well, and you can learn a lot about healthcare.

Cons: You are treated as a cog in a machine. They keep you as long as you are useful, and when you cease to be useful, they get rid of you. There are a lot of politics: If you cross someone in power, they will make your life miserable to push you out. You are always on call and leadership has very little training in terms of leading and building teams. As far as "Diversity and Inclusion" -- they are diverse only in the ways which suit them. Also, the technical skills I learned here did not translate well to the wider world of development outside of healthcare. The things they are doing are either unique to healthcare or wildly outdated.

Pros: Good benefits. Really smart colleagues. Potential to work with new technologies, but this requires being on a specific team or seeking these opportunities independently.

Cons: Poor WLB. Bureaucratic and slow. Legacy systems can make it slow-moving. Legacy tech. Lack of transparency at times in promotions, raises, etc.

Pros: Smart, enjoyable coworkers. Begin with a large cohort. Interesting work. Very high starting salary for new college grad.

Cons: Lots of work. Work-life balance is dependent on what team you get put on. You may either love this place or hate it, but it's ultimately worth the experience of working hard, even if you leave.
