A nice company for a fresher out of school
For a fresh graduate just out of school looking for a Software Engineer role, Expedia will be a good experience in understanding the architecture of a large web system. The Software Development team is very smart, and most of the seniors are former Microsoft employees. The culture is very laid back.
There have been a lot of reorganizations, and the middle management lacks direction.
Please stop reorgs and strive towards a flat organization, at least for Development.
