Online Codility test (easy/medium difficulty)
Video call interview with an engineer. He asked some simple questions about databases, then I did an easy/medium LeetCode problem on string manipulation. The engineer was very helpful in guiding me in the right direction in the coding test, but I didn't have a great experience in this round as he was late and I didn't get to ask many questions in the end.
As the role was competitive, naturally I knew I'd be rejected if I wasn't perfectly scored in round 2. The HR did swiftly send the rejection email the next day, which I appreciate a lot :)
Overall, I had fun. On a serious note: I guess it won't matter much if you had prior experience with the role (digital banking engineer), because solving as many LeetCode problems as possible seems to be their priority in filtering candidates. So, it would be best to solve as many LeetCodes as you can before going to their interviews.
Which database should you choose, Mongo or Postgres, for better read performance and write performance?
