Call with recruiter, then 5 rounds over Zoom.
A manager round, a "culturish" round, and 3 technical rounds.
Technical rounds were refreshing, no trivia, just practical questions, with mostly high-level discussions. One round was a pairing/coding round where we went over the implementation of something I'd likely be doing in my everyday work.
All the rounds were enjoyable, and the recruiters were transparent and helpful throughout the whole process.
Very quick interview to offer stage.
Third-party background check was a bit slow and painful, but it all worked out in the end.

We have some areas for improvement, I think, in terms of hiring more diverse candidates, but otherwise, this is a great place for them to join. Remote culture is respected, and you can find a good work/life balance. So much to learn, and so many smart people to learn from. Having a product that everyone loves is also a nice touch. I think we're doing a good job at transparency from every department.Cons: We could always use more URGs in engineering. We have the right culture to support them; we just need more of a focus on the hiring side.
